Was there news at 2pm today?

When volume dried up right before 2pm, I checked economic calenders just to be sure but nothing mentioned .

The YM FTT and failed to break out the main forest channel. See my attached chart.

I also believe there's news out about some guy taking hostages in a hillary campaign center in New Hampshire. Perhaps that gave a knee jerk reaction.

In the spirit of self-criticism espoused by Chairman Mao (the scum-sucking, $%^&***^$#@$*) and having reflected further on the questions posed last PM, I currently believe that nkhoi's point about the V being sucky and that's what should drive the characterization of that set of bars, is the most correct. The "hybrid" thing while cute, is not really worth considering further.

After all, unless one gets into "relative" HVS (and I don't think one wants to) then with the absolute V being (per Point 1's calculations for the Nikkei Index) in DU, the volatility (H-L) isnot high, as PV would dictate. End of this story - but see the attachment for more HVS antics. In the attachment is a picture of my daughter's cat and a "Jack Joke". Jack is a funny guy. Jack and MAK are smart guys. It is my sincere hope that some of you learned something from my ill-conceived question. I laugh at myself (ho, ho, ho - Hunter S. Thompson) because it's the right thing to do.

I hear everyone's a chairman in China these days :). Nice cat btw.

Your post inspired me to read some more of Jack's stuff this weekend. He has a great sense of humour that the knuckleheads here at ET never seemed to get :). I'm looking forward to it and perhaps I'll even post some gems sunday evening.

After 11 months of studying, here is my report:

1. I have just wrapped up November as the best month of the year.

2. The journey has taken longer to bear fruit than I originally projected. I have started reading Hershey posts since Sept 2006. I thought with my head start, this would be a cake wallk and I could "roll it in" in 3 months. Well, no siree... everyday is a new lesson.

3. The biggest lesson I learned is Humility: Respect for the market... and respect for the power endowed in me.

Thanks... you are a great teacher.

I am not proud of myself yet... I know where is my weakness and where I could have done better. I am working on it.
