I agree. I noticed similar things. Also, I noticed that retraces are usually wider than traverses, and that usually retraces get steeper as the price advances through the channel. :)

That is a great observation cnms2. This afternoon is a good example of that. BTW, thanks for all your annotated charts with comments. They are very helpful to see the logic behind the actions.

At what point would one have been able to decide it was change using the ES and YM?

The second Bar of the Harmonic Formation creates an FTT on the Blue Up channel. In addition, Price forms an FTT of the red up tape on the first bar of the Harmonic Formation. I encourage you to view FTT's as an overriding signal for change when viewing Harmonics. :)

See the attached Chart for today.

Today showed a nice profit of 19.25 points whilst paper trading for the first time. I made some mistakes like reversing on decreasing volume, one of which cost me 5.25 points. Then again, I also nailed a couple of FTT's.

I'm pretty satisfied with the results of this method so far. I'm sure that with some more practise I can trim my mistakes and increase the size of my winners.

Below is my chart that includes my reversals and exits (18 trades total).

Have a nice weekend!

Here is my 15-min ES. Oddly, I'm finding that by monitoring on a coarser resolution, I am able to see changes much clearer...
While many people were busy digging rabbit holes, someone climbed a tree and saw the forest, and everything within it.

Good going !

Quote from Spydertrader:

Review 1600 5 minute bars (roughly 20 market days) and rank Volume from highest to lowest in descending fashion. Break this ranked Volume into deciles. The top decile (the top ten percent of Volume) represents Extreme. The Bottom Decile represents VDU. As a result, 8 deciles remain for High, Medium, Slow and DU. Each of these categories receives 2 deciles.

If you have questions, let me know.

Thanks,

As usual, that does the trick:cool:

Oddi,

As a refinement to volume bars, Mak posted in an older thread, how he disregards the bars before 0945 and after 1545. I believe this is what he did to make the 'volume vs volatility' chart.

Hope this helps,
Mike

To the Touscon group who covered some amazing material.
I have viewed all the videos in Pr0crast's browser and it is great.

What I would like to know if anyone of you can pm me.

I would like to know if any of you have the material or binders that were covered in the meetings.
I am very interested in a copy of that, which was covered during the time in Touscon.

Thanks for any feedback on this.
