Jack makes mention of this and explains it as Money Velocity and the risk/reward ratio based on volume and experience:

Here is the link to the chart: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1430256

It was part of a very interesting thread: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=91543&highlight=money+velocity

Hope that helps!

Not really. The only observation I can make right now is that the midday to 15:30 volume is relatively low compared to volume before midday. The thing that confuses me is that volume sure isn't in DU. (while I thought that DU=lots of noise so no trading for beginners)

Quick question about your chart. How come you didnt end the red channel after it BO of the RTL on increasing black volume at 12:10? I see you fanned out there instead.

I started a new down channel from the FTT at 12:15 and killed my older down channel to that point because price BO of that RTL on increasing vol. Just curious your thought process there if you dont mind. Thanks.

CNMS2, are you able to trade live and draw all those channels at the same time??

So you arent looking at vol to tell you if a channel is broken, you are using higher fractals? (like 15 min chart?)
