I'm now trying to achieve the same level of understanding with the PV relationship. Unfortunately, the way it has been laid out is incomplete and leaves open many questions. [/B]
Correct me if I am wrong, you simply compare the NOW bar with the previous one, observe the PV in the first 30 seconds of the bar, it's there on your template.
If in an uptrend, you have the price making higher highs and higher lows with increasing black volume, you are also on the look out for
1. flaws - means continuation if in the dominant channel
2. VEs
3. harmonics
4. inside bars, pennants
Having seen VEs and flaws you are on the alert as you know the FTT is around the corner, then you get decreasing red volume in non- dominant channel.
You observe volume @ FBO and BO points. I keep it simple like this. No fancy language, I'm not writing a thesis.
Lately Spyder has been highlighting pennants, just observe the volume and see which way they are likely to breakout. I am sorry I am not as gifted as some people here but I do have "aha" moments every now and then. I hope this helps, it's just that simple.
