Yea I did @ 12.50 then realized they have earnings tomorrow when the stock was at 12.82 so I got out immediately and made a small profit. Not good trading practice though for me to do that without checking earnings dates.

I've been following this one since I read about SFL back in Dec 2006. TBSI and SFL are rather interesting shipping container companies. The business model is intriguing, essentially a license to print money.
In any event, two reasons for my post:
1) The whole ocean shipping container group has done remarkably well this year. This might be something to consider when it comes time to make a buy decision between multiple candidates, i.e. given limited funds and a coin toss between 2 stocks, do you go with a member of the shipping containers group or a member of the sub-prime fiasco group?
2) I'm curious to know which screening process led to TBSI being added now?
Once the fundamental culling process ends, I base buying decisions (in your coin toss scenario) on whichever candidate has a higher rank.
I scanned the entire stock market (and not just the stocktables.com list) and up popped TBSI.

Are you sure you meant to type in TBSI? I thought you added it on July 26th. Perhaps you meant BPHX, CHB, RZ, or SOLF?
It may be possible that I posted it on July 26, but neglected to actually add TBSI to my Final Universe at that time. Or, I could have mistaken the symbol when posting earlier. Here is my current Final Universe.

I short from a universe of low quality stocks (that I scan for). I do. I started doing it when I realised my shorts were losing me money using the hershey approach. So all I did was change the universe - I have one long universe and one short universe. Now my shorts make me lots of money. All I did was change the universe.
I was thinking of trying this and was wondering if you keep the float criteria of 5-30 mill shares or do you have a different parameter. Thanks.
