2005-06-28, Tuesday - Update

This morning, I monitored one list of stocks (2 total equities): Those equities from our daily Hot List and from our Final Universe List finding themselves "In Dry Up."

Dry Up Stocks

MCRI TASR

Our system generated one possible trade signal from the list of two Dry Up Stocks when actual volume exceeded calculated "Low Band" Dry Up Volume prior to 11:30 AM.

Dry Up Stocks Triggering Signal

TASR

Dry Up Stocks NOT Triggering Signal

MCRI

TASR did show price improvement ($10.38) at time of signal generation (10:59 AM). In addition, MACD Histogram showed a positive return (+.0451). However, The Stochastic Indicator fell below desired levels (70.93).

As a result, I took no action with respect to TASR.

I'm sure it's a difference in data feeds, but I recieved a signal to buy MCRI at 10:54am at 47,400 shares lower band. Do you have the same lower band #?

I would agree with your assessment regarding datafeeds. I had 47,293 as my Low Band level. Close enough for sure. After checking time and sales, I have the 47,293 level exceeded at 11:32:55 AM. I use Qcharts (Quote.com) as my data feed. If your datafeed got you into a position with MCRI, you made a few dollars today. Congrats!

IIG JUPM MCRI MFLX UBET USG

DCAI did not show price improvement ($21.78) at time of signal generation (11:04 AM). In addition, MACD Histogram showed a positive return (+.0631). However, The Stochastic Indicator fell below desired levels (26.5354).

EZPW did not show price improvement ($10.09) at time of signal generation (11:08 AM). In addition, MACD Histogram showed a negative return (-.1594). Also, The Stochastic Indicator fell below desired levels (15.8744).

As a result, I took no action with respect to DCAI or EZPW.
