PACT fell from the Final Universe List due to negative EPS. ANGO failed to make the Final Universe List due to insufficient float.

The following Stocks have been ADDED to the Final Universe List as of 2005-03-14: CUTR. While I understand CUTR has an average daily volume below normal parameters, those with smaller accounts could trade CUTR.

2005-03-15, Tuesday - Update

Our system triggered a trading signal today at 10:30 AM when actual volume for ELOS exceeded the 50% pro-rata level of calculated DU10 Dry Up Volume. We had price improvement over the previous day, and both MACD (+.0089) and The Stochastic Indicator (80.1833) fell within desired parameters. As a result, we enter into a long position with respect to elos, and continue to monitor price and volume throughout the day.

Should actual volume exceed calculated FRV by end of day, we plan to hold until at least the next day. If actual volume for ELOS fails to reach FRV status, we plan to exit by EOD.

2005-03-15, Tuesday - ELOS Update

Actual Volume for ELOS exceeded calculated FRV levels by EOD (by a few thousand shares). As a result, we hold our shares of ELOS overnight. ELOS reached an intraday high of $29.20 USD - an improvement over our purchase price of $0.55 USD per share. Accordingly, we improve our stop in parallel with price. We had an initial stop (5%) at $27.22, and now our stop has improved to $27.77 USD.

The following link provides an updated version of "The Hershey Chartscript" on the Wealth-Lab.com web site:

The Hershey Equities Rank v. 2.0.0 computes the rank for any stock, as well as, provides a Score using a variant of the G33M4K Scoring Macro. The above Chartscript calculates a range for Dry Up Volume, and displays a green chart background for any stock with actual volume within that range. I have also added a Hershey Modified MACD and Stochastic Indicator to the bottom of the chart. In order to clean up the chart window, The Chart Script displays Dry Up Volume calculations in the commentary window below the chart. This second Version of The Hershey Equities Chart Script calculates rank the same as the first, but adds a few items in an attempt to save time.

I need to thank SRVZ for his many contributions towards the development of this ChartScript (and for providing immeasurable assistance by answering my questions late at night) and G33M4K for developing the original scoring macro.

2005-03-156, Wednesday - Update

Our System did not provide any trade signals for us today. Actual Volume for our Watch List Stocks failed to exceed calculated Dry Up Volume. As a result, we took no action either long or short with respect to The Hershey Equities System.

We continue to hold ELOS for another day. ELOS reached an intraday high of $29.25 causing us to raise our stop price accordingly. As a result, our stop has improved to $27.82 USD.

For those individuals who use Wealth-Lab Developer, I have attached the chartscripts required to run Version Two of The Hershey Equities ChartScript on your own computer. The attached file (HersheyChartscriptV2.zip) works the same as the Chartscript housed on the wealth-lab.com web site and linked here:

The Wealth-Lab Developer Version of the above ChartScript requires three separate scripts to function properly. The attached .zip file contains the three files (tbaccumdist2.ws, paintmacd2.ws and DU Volume Range.ws). Place the tbaccumdist2 & paintmacd2 into the Indicators folder of WLD and place DU Volume Range in the same folder you keep your other Jack Hershey System chartscripts.

The following Stocks have been ADDED to the Final Universe List as of 2005-03-16: FORD.

Yahoo had FORD with Float less that 5 million, but Qcharts had FORD with over 5 million in Float. I felt Qcharts data to be more accurate, and as a result, we keep FORD today.

Hershey ChartScript Bug Fix

Attached, please find a revised version of the Hershey Chartscript for use on Wealth-Lab Developer. The one I posted previously contained a bug that created an invalid floating point error. My thanks to Sluzbenik for providing me the work around.

2005-03-17, Thursday - Update

Our system generated no signals today as actual volume for our Watch List stocks failed to exceed Calculated Dry Up Volume prior to 11:30 AM EST.

We continue to hold ELOS another day experiencing a nice little run up in price throughout the day. Today, ELOS reached an intraday high of $30.18 USD before closing at $29.99 USD. As a result, we move our stop upwards in parallel with price. Our current stop now resides at the $28.75 price point.
