I closed my REDF papertrade on Friday close


sold remainder of my paper postion (half)

@ 20.75 (time exit 4 days) +$3.13,+%17.7

total avg of trade +$2.20,+%12.45

NB: peak volume was reached on the entry day, I choosed not to follow this rule and set a pretty wide trailing stop.

I picked up the book by William J. O'Neil 'How to make money in Stocks'. I can see the foundation for the Hershey method within the pages.
It is a big help.

Over the years, experience has shown me that of all the culling parameters, cycling ranks as the most important. Once I profitably trade an equity, I only remove it from The Final Universe for Failure to Maintain Rank. The idea behind this Rule stems from "If I can profitably trade an equity once, then I can anticipate repeating the process with stocks that continue to cycle." I also noticed over time that I received numerous trade signals from stocks, which at one time, fell above the 80 -90 percentile rank for EPS and RS, but no longer held such high rankings. Many of these signals traded profitably as well. Therefore, I determined number of cycles (maintaining rank) to have far more importance than anything else.


Or it's just a difference of data from your source?

I have DXPE with a float of 3,000,000 which is under the 5,000,000 minimum. Also, I have NURO listed with either 0 or -.01 EPS, depending on the source, which does not meet the positive EPS rule that Jack sets out....

So I don't have DXPE or NURO on my list, but I do have NTRI....

Other than that, my list matches Spyder's.....lol

Once a stock makes it onto The Final Universe, I only remove it for Failure to Maintain Rank. Float, RS, EPS, or any other culling parameters, no longer apply. Prior to making it into The Final Universe, ALL culling parameters apply.

edit: to keep it real as much as possible, when I have the signal I always buy @ask, and look for ask size, if ask size is less than my trade size , I buy at the next level.
