I have seen in these journals warning signs when trading equities using the DryUp methodology over the thanksgiving period, but nothing with respect to the Christmas - New Year period.

Whats everyone's thoughts here in terms of equities? I see alot of DryUp stocks now, but not sure if these signals are appropriate to trade. Would these stocks still be considered valid opportunities that should be traded in the event of exceeding DU by the respective times?

Here are the options...

1. BO followed by a FBO
2. DU to more DU/VDU
3. BO

My experience during this week has mostly 2s a number of 1s and an occasional 3... All options are volume based. You pick off 1 on the Daily PRV...

Quick question about your ES 5 M charts.
The markets close at 1600 but your charts shows 2 bars after 1600 close. Where did those bars come from? After hours action?

The futures markets actually close at 16:15

i have never used real time streaming charts. i use tc2000 charts for choosing stocks, but the real time data costs $99. per month. does anyone have a comment on this service as to reliability, ease of use, etc.?
i think Scottrade has the streaming charts, but is also a broker. it would seem desirable to have your real time data at your broker's
website. i have read about 200 posts in Journal II, but i haven't seen a discussion on the best websites or brokers to deal with. could someone offer an opinion? thanks, Restan
