Is there any alternative to wealthlab, or even a subscription service? It is maddening to have to constantly try to do a scan only to be told to come back later. I was trying to do my work as early as 1 hour prior to market open to no avail.

Apparently you can get a pro version by opening an account with Fidelity, however, I'm very pleased with IB so that is no possible.

Somewhere along the way in one or both of the journals I believe others have used TC2000 and/or Amibroker. I recall some snippets of code posted. You may want to use search feature and look for info on those. Ami can use IB data feed.

Also, the work can be done manually using the Initial Analysis Sheet, lots more effort but the learning curve is improved I believe.

edit: Jack reviews how to do this manually on one of the Tucson videos but I can't find them online anymore, if anyone has a new link perhaps you could post.

OK, I should have known that amibroker was an option as I had asked about it, but I guess I was under the impression that the analysis it was doing was after the wealthlab scripts had been run.

Believe me, if it weren't so late for me (time zone difference) I would gladly buy amibroker right this second for any price...well less than a few hundred USD. I think I'll look into it tomorrow my time.

John: for now try the resource at the following link. Look at the final universe link on the left side of the main page. I have posted this before but don't know who does the work or the reliability, but it is a great resource.

GROW and IAAC were both in DU this morning. But both are near the left side of their channels. I have owned both from lower levels, but how do you make a decision on whether to add or buy if the stock is extended and near its channel line? Is there some other screen you want to do?

I added to my IAAC this morning but am underwater on the new shares.

Hiya folks. For anyone who might find it useful, I've been tracking the Final Universe adds/deletes as posted by Spydertrader. I've published my current snapshot of the FU on the Wealth-Lab.com web site as a public watch list at the following link:

http://www.wealth-lab.com/cgi-bin/WealthLab.DLL/getpage?page=PublicWatchLists.htm

Just scroll down to the watch list called "Hershey Final Universe", the author being yours, truly.

Don't worry, I haven't "taken liberties" with the list by adding or deleting what *I* think does or doesn't belong. This is an orthodox Hershey Final Universe using the published methods and preferences.

I use this watch list myself for daily scans.

Bi9foot,

Are all Jack Hershey & Spyder's videos located here now or are they in different websites. Thanks

The link I gave is where the videos and the transcripts of some of the meetups in Tucson are located.

To my knowledge those are all the video's that are publicly available. Spyder made at least one presentation at one of those meetups, I cannot remeber with video it is (probably one of the Aug. ones).
