Hey spydertrader, I've read Jack's "Beginner Rockets" document several times and have set up QT to try and study this in real-time. Sure enough, these set-ups happen just about every day.
I'd like to post pics of these when I see them but I don't want to side-track the intent of this journal. Is it OK if I explore this here or would you prefer I post to a separate thread?

Although these set ups (as discussed in the 'Beginner Rockets" Document) refer to futures trading, you may have noticed the same set ups materializing in the equities environment as well. Previous posters to Journal Two alluded to this very same fact within the confines of their assessments of equities. As such, feel free to post screen shots of these set-ups as you run across them. I have no doubt many will find your contributions helpful.

Here's a set-up I saw yesterday on ES. Just when I was thinking that the trending was over for the day, here was an extra 2 points to take...

Hey spydertrader, I saw in the chats today that you liked BTUI for long, yet RACK had a similar-looking chart.

During my nightly analysis, BTUI appeared to fall into the 'Rocket' category of stocks, while RACK appeared to look more like a 'Bruno R' Set up (but not quite). As 'Rockets' show less risk than 'Bruno R' Stocks, I chose to monitor BTUI this morning. I simply didn't have a chart up of RACK during the opening session, and as such, missed the signal. A few people sent me messages that they did grab a hold of RACK this morning. To all those who did take the trade, nicely done.
As you see, my failure to trade RACK resulted from simply a failure to monitor, rather than excluding it from consideration. I hope the above information provided some clarity.

Could you please post a picture of BTUI to show its rocket characteristics? I think I'm getting a handle on this rocket stuff but I'd like to see your thinking on this just to clarify.

See Attached Chart of BTUI. Notice how the fast stochastic crossed the 50 line and continues higher. In addition, we see a rising (and already positive MACD) Histogram. last night, the MACD Histogram almost breached the +.40 area, and more than likely has already done so today. As I write, BTUI currently shows price improvement today of nearly 10%.
