Thanks to everyone who contributed their efforts to the Journal over the last week. I appreciate the posts. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and have returned refreshed and ready to go. I highly recommend making a trip to the Dominican Republic when you have the time.

It was awfully quiet around here without you spydertrader.

I guess tonight's the night to cull final universe stocks that no longer have rank?

One thing I've noticed is the dearth of new final universe additions lately.
 
Is there any sport fishing in the Dominican Republic?Did you see any boats/fish/prices if you took a stroll along a quay?(Assuming you stayed in the capital).
 
I understand the "SCORE" and what is required for a stock to have a "RANK" but what does the "RANK" number represent.

Is it the average daily % gain during it's 20% cycles?

Yes. Tonight it appears as if MEK, VOL and RES will get the boot. LMS should reacquire rank. I plan to give HANS a bit more time as it only recently (while I was away) lost its rank.

If the trend continues with respect to fewer Final Universe additions, we may have to look a little lower than the 80-80 RS and EPS threshold.

We vacationed in Punta Cana (Eastern Coast) and not Santo Domingo (capital), but plenty of sports fishing wherever you go. All prices (for everything - not just sports fishing) are negotiable. We never pay full price for anything.

Correct. The higher the rank for a particular equity, the higher the average daily percent gain.
