Hello Everyone.

I returned from Tucson earlier today spending the remainder of the evening playing 'catch up' with emails, PM's and posts. While eager to return to trading, I found the time spent in Tucson extremely informative. The quality of the information presented and the character of the individuals in attendance exceeded every expectation. As a result, I have planned a return trip later this summer.

One cannot help but notice the negativity which exists elsewhere on ET with respect to how some individuals view Jack Hershey. While I intend to address this situation in much greater detail in a later post, I cannot help but find the histrionics associated with these negative viewpoints utterly hilarious.

While I intend to offer greater detail at the appropriate time, allow me to provide one easily followed recommendation to you all, which if followed, opens up an entire new world of possibilities: Review both Journals several times until you know them cold. Everything (and I do mean everything) you need in order to make the transition from successful Equities Trading to profitable Index Futures Trading exists right here within Journals One and Two.

While it may appear as if I must have sipped large batches of specially prepared 'Kool-Aid' in order to make such a statement, I can assure you nothing could be further from the truth. Moreover, I urge you not to take my word for it. I simply encourage you to take the necessary steps needed to insure you have constructed the strongest possible foundation with respect to Jack's Methods.

In the coming weeks and months, look for new, highly detailed and exciting information to augment and enhance the current knowledge base. In addition, I plan to post a few upgraded chartscripts, in an effort to improve performance, within the next few days.

The future really is brighter than the Tucson sun.

Good Trading (and good to be back).

Spyder,

Did Jack say when the other camtasias would be ready?

It is good to hear that you got personal confirmation about the methods. They really do work in any market, I have been testing that for awhile. Jack could charge thousands for what he is giving away.

Best Regards
Oddi

Plus, don't forget to look for unusual volume activity on the final universe stocks. I'm not trading this yet, but there seem to be opportunities here, just about every day.

Nice observation. If you happened to observe what happened as GMXR crossed the .22 Unusual Volume Threshold before 11:00 AM eastern Time, you can see GMXR now currently up over a dollar from price at time of signal. Use the attached chart for following this pattern. cnms2 posted an excel sheet containing this same information.

Those of us who attended the meetings in Tucson recorded several days worth of Camtasia Video files. In addition, Jack recorded the IBD Meetup session on Thursday evening. As you can imagine, such a large volume of video requires a significant period of time to edit and compile (editing out the off topic discussions saves time and server space). Jack hopes to have some 30 to 50 Camtasia video files in place by the launch of the new web site. While quite an ambitious task, I'm confident the web site content, design and utility will exceed everyone's expectations. As to an exact date of launch, I cannot say. The project itself is quite an impressive undertaking, and not simply, a repository for downloading files. The site designers have exhibited a great deal of professionalism and dedication to detail in the face of such a herculean task. Once the entire site goes operational, I plan to alert everyone in a timely fashion.

Been some negative and positive comments recently re MB Trading. Is that way for any broker. Just wondering if most are using MB or IB or someone else?

Thx.

With all due respect, don't you feel its time you simply tested both and came to a decision on your own? You have posted this same question multiple times in various threads. Test out each platform and arrive at a decision based on your own personal style and needs. I personally feel MBT's combination of fast executions, superior customer service and low commissions creates a difficult to beat environment. Others might feel the same about IB. However, irrespective of the opinions of others, the decision to open an account with a particular brokerage firm remains a matter of personal choice.

Good Trading to You.

Sorry I asked, again.
If your not familiar with switching brokerages and all the hassles involved, you would know why Im asking, again.

I will now be silent

I have switched brokerage firms many times in my career. I understand the difficulties and challenges associated with multiple moves. However, after receiving the opinions of others, you still need to do your own Due Diligence.

Good Trading (and brokerage evaluation) to you.

Attached, please find a 30 minute chart of GMXR. Note the pattern of the highlighted volume pane. While not an exact match, GMXR's volume bars do closely resemble the 'ideal' pattern seen in the 'Unusual Volume' sheet posted previously. Note also the crossing of the MACD Histogram to the positive side, and upward divergence in the Stochastic Indicators. Note also the ability to use 'Unusual Volume' for entry, hold and sell signals as described in the previously attached sheet.

Spydertrader - What previously attached sheet are you noting?
Pardon me for being slow.
