Hi Spydertrader!

In your Hershey Equities Rank v 4.0.0 you have improved 'Bruno R' Mechanical Trading System. But in the {Trading Rules} buy conditions,

(mv2Series(6) > 0) and
(ma2Series(#Average, 6) > 0)

will always return true. Do you mean

(@mv2Series(6)[Bar] > 0) and
(@ma2Series(#Average, 6)[Bar] > 0)

?

If so, we get almost no buy signals any more.

I noticed the coding error (SVRZ called me to point out the error) after I had already published the Version 4.0.0 Chartscript. After publishing, I could not alter the code. Actually, the error resides in the fact that I did not allow for the variables to extend beyond each individual loop (notice how I failed to use a second variable for one of the second derivatives). I do plan to fix this code in the next upgrade when I hope to add fundamentals (float, eps, average volume, Insider Owned and Institutional owned) for 'one stop' culling. In addition, The Second Derivatives are best used in real time. The Wealth-Lab Translation of dougcs' code simply applies to all time frames, rather than (as dougcs uses it), on the 15 minute fractal. In other words, my tests have shown superior results from using other set ups for Watch List creation, and using the Second Derivatives for entry and / or exit. I promise to have everything sorted out on the next upgrade.

Thanks for the 'heads up.'

The link takes me to the Yahoo Finance SYmbol Lookup Page. Is this what you intended?

Thanks for the 'heads up' with regard to the link not working. Try This instead. Hopefully the link works better this time.
