REDF might be leaving DU list for a while. It was just mentioned as a point of interest for Yahoo in a news release.

The Financial Express reports that Yahoo C.E.O. Terry Semel was in India on a three-day visit to India scouting for acquisitions. The report quotes Semel as saying "We have identified some companies (for acquisition). Some of these companies we have met earlier and we are here to bring those conversations to conclusion." (REDF +4.4%, SIFY +5.4%)

Hope everyone is having a better day than I. :)

I got signals on MIND and FORD. I'm in but will probably be out by EOD due to not hitting FRV.

Here's a question for you spydertrader. The first day's stop is 2% below entry and then 5% below the day's high on subsequent days, right? So what happens if the 5% stop is lower than the first day's 2% stop? Do you move it down or just leave it at the 2% stop level of the first day? I'd say the latter since the common rule is to never move stops down (for longs) but only move them in your favor.

For those of you who have Stockcharts.com subscriptions and can use their Advanced Stock Screener....

Here is a dryup scan. It won't calculate any levels for you or do anything else but tell you if there are any stocks in dryup.
Code:
[favorites list = 16] and
[3.33*Volume < daily min(20,daily volume) +
21 days ago daily min(20,daily volume) +
41 days ago daily min(20,daily volume) +
61 days ago daily min(20,daily volume) +
81 days ago daily min(20,daily volume)]

I believe this reflects the same DU calculation that Spydertrader does in the WL script.

Where it says [favorites list = 16] substitute your list of ranked Hershey stocks. Stockcharts.com data is generally up to date by 4:20 PM everyday so you won't have to wait for Yahoo or WL to have updated data which can sometimes take up to 8:00 PM.

Hope that keeps some of you guys out of a data scanning jam.

BNT FORD ISE and MIND triggered LBDU alerts before 11:30AM

I use LBDU as the only trigger...

Long BNT @ 13.17 and holding (papertrade)

I hold the stock overnight if it has surpassed UBDU at EOD rather than FRV. So far I have seen few stocks that triggered LBDU to hit FRV by EOD, hence the modification of my hold criteria...

Hi Dougcs,

Congrats on your trades.

Just want to learn. How many monitors do you have? Do you look at the time and sales and market depth also?

Reason I asked is because I have difficulty in following more than 1 or 2 stocks at 1 time and just want to have a glimpse into a professional trader's setup who is able to trade so many stocks in 1 day. Thanks

Anybody else who wants to contribute are greatly welcome

Nah. While summer traditionally brings lowered volatility, Hershey stocks traditionally continue to provide profits year round. Based on the results from previous summers, I anticipate continued performance in the coming summer months.

Suggestion: use proper orthography! It's a pain for your readers to understand what you're writing, and it takes from their attention to your ideas. I usually just skip this kind of posts.
