Quote.com and QCharts show LQDT with an Avergae Volume of 153,450 shares. I recommend exercising caution if you choose to enter positions with thinly traded equities. As always, Your Mileage May Vary.

Dang, you guys are right. My culling program uses average daily volume from yahoo finance data query strings. But the average daily volume on the actual quote web page for LQDT shows 167K.
It's a data problem at yahoo apparently. From now on I'll have to be sure to double check these candidates. Not a big deal considering that new candidates only pop up every few days.
It just goes to show that automation is very handy but shouldn't be relied upon 100%. Just because the computer says something doesn't mean you should stop using the computer between your ears!

Just learnt a pretty important lesson with EZPW, methinks.
I decided the spread was too great when LBDU hit at $38.71. The spread was around 10 cents.
Now its trading at $39.71.
I'll be sure to be a little less concerned over the spread next time.
I hope others have been profitable in EZPW today.

As previously discussed, XING did make it to the $12.75 USD price point. As a result, XING clicked off another 20% gain in 8 days.

You had some company in the LMIA trade. Although I didn't attempt to Front Run the market, I did end up dumping LMIA for a fifty dollar loss once I realized I had jumped into a textbook FBO (See Attached execution blotter for LMIA).

Nice call! Clearly I was a bit out of my league in that trade - if I want to get in fast, I need to be able to get out fast, too. I got in a bit lower than you, but didn't get out until 20.28 on average. And with the size I took, I am down a lot more than $50
What was it that let you know it was heading south, or do you reduce risk and exit if it doesn't let you know it's going your way?

I bought at around the $25.76 level but sold half at $26.5 since it was near a resistance level. I have a rule that if a stock is up 5% intraday I usually try to nail down partial profits. Does anyone else take partial profits on these Jack Hershey trades? Is it a wise thing to do?
Of course the stock continues to trade modestly above my sell level.
