Hi Spyder,

Very interesting journal. I'm a new reader, so am keeping track of it with paper trades.

NWRE didn't show up on my scans this weekend. Can you tell me if you got it through the methodology listed at the end of the last journal? Thanks.

I like TS for charting. However, it like all complex software is full of bugs and quirks. I've been using it since the late 80s, so I am used to them and the generally poor support provided. In fairness, support has improved but still needs to improve.

They are at best an average broker: commissions are OK, fills decent and finally a good list of shortable stocks. My main reason for having an account is to get free use of the software.

They do have occasional failures of their servers making trading impossible as the back up phone desk is not reachable when this happens. This is not unique to them. It does show how important it is to have a back up broker where you may offset trades or offset risk when the other broker has its inevitable failure.

My primary broker is IB.

Jack has written many 'books' on various subjects. His 128 page trading documents certainly qualify as 'book' in my opinion. In addition Jack has authored many 800-page governmental reports / memos under various administrations. These also qualify as books - although not published for public consumption. I'm confident Jack could provide a more detailed description of his body of work.

This is Tradestation notation. The [1] denotes "one bar ago."
