Jack Hershey and Spydertrader, to my knowledge, do not make a single cent from providing this information. It just amazes me that they are treated as snake oil salesmen by some people, when they aren't even selling anything. If you don't like their freely given information, move on. If you think they've wasted your time, again how is that different than 99% of freely disclosed methodologies? Is every single thing in life that is valuable handed on a silver platter and obtainable without effort?
I personally think the reason Jack Hershey and Spydertrader get attacked so much, is in the attackers' subconscious, they are actually jealous. What if Jack Hershey and Spydertrader are actually brilliant and profitable traders? Is the secret fear that the attackers might realize they are not as skilled as other people? Another possibility is some people don't like Jack Hershey's communication style, and it makes them feel good about themselves to put other people down even though Jack Hershey was trying to help people for free. It is easy to get your ego raised by believing other people are worse than you, for people some of the time, sadly.
