Spydertrader - lay it on the line

Bighog,

I'm currently Swiss on all this, but if I remember correctly, didn't Spyder challenge you to a trading contest awhile ago? What better way to see if Jack's method's work, than to have a contest with his top student. I say top student, because I don't know any better. Maybe, there's others that have traded SCT ( or close to it) for a longer time. If so, maybe they'll speak up. Spyder your experience with Futures (ES) is what, about a year or so?

Why not, take him up on the offer. It seems from ET chat you've done quite well over the past few years.

Details for a trading contest: Who knows, don't ask me.

Not asking for any trading help. Just curious if there is any evidence the guy can trade like he claims too.

fwiw-I trade based on JH and Spyder's teachings and do very well at it. Yet, I don't think I've yet learned all there is to know esp. SCT. I'm getting started in the Spooz.

For example in stocks, I see results comparable to what Spydertrader posted in his first stock Journal. I also entered the silly CNBC contest to try out a variation of the ideas. It placed me in the top 10% with over a 25% return for the couple of months the contest ran.

Don't know if JH can trade as I've never seen him do it or met him but for me the methods work nicely.

Good trading,

DS

I'll supply the popcorn.

And then we have Jack Hershey. To date, he has yet to present himself as modest. His conduct at ET leaves little doubt how he views anyone who does not agree with everything he has to convey. You are either on his side or you are on the wrong side. There is no middle ground. I can only imagine the opulence he must surround himself in...right? I suppose that only those who have rubbed shoulders with him would know for certain.
Inquire amongst those who have met the man in person, or rather, make an effort to meet him yourself. I think the results would surprise you.

LOL, the detractors rant on and on about how nobody is profitable using hershey methods and nobody will fess up to results, etc, but as soon as somebody does make an honest claim to success it is completely and utterly ignored by those who called them out in the first place.

So in the end, we still have zero proof Jack can trade the way he claims. His lifestyle certainly doesnt give us any hints.

Just smells cultish to me.

Without realizing it, you have been perfectly manipulated by Jack Hershey.

Jack can not provide any proof because there is none. I venture to guess that spy uses the pointer to review tapes of trading after the fact, not live.

Spy and Jack need to prove us doubters wrong. they fail to do that in a positive way, Why?

I have also been down that road with doubters before and have not provided proof of my trading skills. Why not? Because i have nothing to prove to anyone but myself. Jack and spy claim ridiculous trading that any real trader knows is impossible in the real world. There is proof in the pudding as they say....Where is the PUDDING?

Watch the cabana boys within the flock come to their rescue. .. :D

.. but time has come to move on. I will go to chat as a lurker....silent lurker. I expect value from a chat aside from just using chat as a way to pass some time. but, indeed chat has been taken over by jackalopes so i am done posting. it was fun sometimes, but has become silly with all the flock in there. Thanks guys....have fun.
