Anyone know why SPY options have higher commission on IB? on the following trade:

SLD 6 SPY Jun20'14 176 PUT 1.17
commission: -7.59

that's $1.265 per contract, about ~60% higher than the expected ~.79 per contract.

It was a limit order that took a while to fill, so I would have expected it to have added liquidity by joining the bid/ask and resting.

On the unbundled charges, I'm seeing a .47 execution fee, how do I know what that is for?

Sorry, you will have to call them. I left IB with my person account because I was charged for taking when I added. My order was in the system for two hours.

trying the email ticket first... I moved to IB because a bug on another broker's platform cost me $3K on a trade, but I probably won't move for .47 even though those charges do add up... hopefully I can get a reasonable explanation... thanks again 1245!
