SPY and QQQ .. waste of time?

I appears from my trading records going back 7 years that SPY and QQQ have not been as good for me as have options on individual stocks. Is is just too crowded on SPY and QQQ to have any edge? It sure seems to be.. opinions please
 
Many edges are not the same in indices as in individual stocks of course. If you're doing good in individual stocks already I don't see why you would even bother with indices.
 
What edge do you think you are getting on individual names,and what type of vol trader are you?

Good Evening Jdesey,

The moment I stopped looking for trading Edge was when I started to get rich in the ES futures market.

Searching trading edge is a Scam and a waste of time for 1 individual.

I assume SPY QQQ or any options chain that are a penny wide and big firms match up in size is efficiently priced.

Yes my opinion is an edge exists, unfortunately you don't have one.
