SPX Credit Spread Trader

OK, they are cheaper, but it's another browser-based platform, which is not very suitable for active traders as you have to constantly switch back and forth between browser windows and click "refresh".
By the way, the options calculator is taken off of the CBOE website, and the strategy scanner is from ivolatility.com.

I'm expecting the market to be down mid-year and looked at buying some Apr or Jun debit put spreads:
APR 1275/1250 put spread $7.40 debit
JUN 1275/1250 put spread $7.40 debit
How come they have the same price?
Which is the better choice (assuming they have the same price)?

Got filled today on the following:
FEB SPX 1325/1340 bear call at $0.50
The order sat for quite awhile with a mid of $0.50 to $0.55. I was doing other things and then heard the ToS "ding" that I got filled at $0.50 when the SPX was up about 10 points.
However, shortly thereafter the mid jumped to $0.70 with the SPX only up by around 11 points.
Seems like there was a sudden increase in volatility on the 1325, which I didn't get to take advantage of.

I guess I didn't notice Heather's position. Maybe she'll post and refresh my memory.
I'm not intending to hold this until expiration unless the market pulls back significantly. The mid on ToS for this position is now back down to $0.45 and I expect it to drop even more as the weekend approaches (assuming the SPX has seen its highs for the day).
BTW: I thought you were living on the edge too. You know, if I had known that you weren't, I never would have placed this trade. After all, misery loves company.

I'm being a "good" girl this month my short call is 1340 I think Heathers is 1320...so far she is closest to the edge:eek:
