SPX Credit Spread Trader

I attended the Thinkorswim Beyond the Basics class yesterday. It seemed to fit perfectly with what we discuss here on this board. When I get a little more time in the next day or so I will post more about it. We covered alot of ground so I am still digesting it and want to play with some of the ideas in a pricing calculator.

I just entered RUT Feb 1320/1330 credit spread for $.50 for 10 contracts. I am curious to know your opinion.Its my first big trade and i am kind of feeling wierd.I guess you get confidence as you go along and the trick is not to get too confident, right?.

I concur. Since I am locked into my position and most of us are already in our positions for FEB and MARCH is still a week away from consideration we should use the down time to work on the basics!

I spent too much brain power this morning on the GOOG straddle over at riskarb's thread so my mind is mush lol.
 
Did you mean SPX instead of RUT?
