This is a dumb question, but when you guys trade RUT options, are you talking about options on IWM or ER2?

in my case; i am referring to future options deriving from "er2". er2 is the futures product version of rut. future options have allowed me to trade using much lower margin; thus allowing me to better (imo) manage black swan events.

it seems that most brokers do not offer future options. interactive brokers does, and i have traded with them very successfully since 1999.

where did that come from?

I was kidding around with coach, sorry if that didn't come through in my message. I have the utmost respect for him (and many others on this board) and have learned quite a bit from him here and other places around the web. He also has a book that is really good.

Enough stroking of coach's ego and back to trading....

Update on my SPX DD and RUT DD:

SPX sucks right now (decent paper loss right now but sitting in a sweet spot for expiration which is too far away :()
RUT close to breakeven so not too much better
Need to keep monitoring these and see what adjustments if any I need to make as we get closer to expiration.

Neither, I mean RUT.

RUT is the index and RUT is the underlying.

piccon,

Did you open any CTM spreads? Without OB/OS signal, do you stay away from the market?
