saying that you do not have time is what is "absurd". i guess in one big stream of consciousness you quickly put out 5000 plus posts....and maybe even more.....
i do understand though trying to explain your actual trades would get quite tedious. you are right on that point. it does not matter to me , because my connections in nyc taught me how you trade. it is not bad, grinds money out ,takes time, and much effort.
again, you are right , there is no secret and it is definitely hard work.
one thing that you are misleading about is your intent. anyone who believes that you are not here to "swing" traders to your prop is extremely naive. there is no other reason why you are here. i must admit, you have worked hard to build that persona, the insults are i think what really gets people to believe what you want. very good.
This is really comical. I have to continue to come on here and defend why I don't single handedly tutor everyone on this board. Do you have any clue how many hours a day I put into my job? I mean seriously. I'm in my office 10 to 12 hours a day and on top of that I spend half my evening and weekend returning e-mails. I have a million different projects I'm working on right now and you call me out on not spending time to go into detail of how I trade. That is pretty funny.
Yeah, I have 5k plus posts spread out over 5 years! Most of the posts came pre-2006 when I started running my office and even then it comes out to a 3 post a day average. Most of which are just quick rants.
Seriously, do you think I deserve any time to myself away from trading? Do you have any idea how many PM's I get from here asking for help on this or that? I try to be a gentleman and respond to each and everyone of them even though I really don't have the time. Including your PM asking if you can sell naked puts at my prop firm.
I'm not on this thread to recruit. There are three people from ET that have accounts with me, two from this thread. I have been asked several times by Sailing to come on here and post and respond to posts. He has a group in Michigan that actively reads, but doesn't post on this thread. So I feel obligated to jump in here from time to time and offer my opinions on whatever the topic is. I do this because he ASKS me to.
The truth of the matter is 95% of ET does not have the capital to trade at my firm so recruiting is a moot pt. But like I said, since two of the guys from my group post on here (Phil and Murray), I spend a little more time here then any other thread.
And I will say this one more time. You either get it or you don't. I could give example of how I trade all day long. I can sit down with you for 15 hours and explain to you what I do. It's not going to do much. I can't give you 11 years of trading experience in a nice short post. I can't teach discipline and focus on a message board. I can't go into all the nuances of how options are priced in a quick response. You want quick satisfying answers, I can't offer that. You want answers, solutions, secrets, strategies, blueprints, they don't exist. All I can do here is take a topic at hand and offer some feedback on it. Some will get it, others won't.
You can accuse me of anything you want, I'm one of the few guys in this business that are completely 100% honest about the business. I don't hold back. You want to question my integrity, PM Phil or Murray. I've been in this business for 11 years and you won't find a single person that has a negative thing to say about the way I go about my business. That's pretty rare. Most my friends would lay in front of train for me.
I guess you have no explanation for the 4k plus posts I had on ET before I started running an office. Look, you can question my statements on options all day long, but don't you ever question my integrity or character again on a public forum.
