SPX Credit Spread Trader

I have been following this thread for some time and want to thank you all for the invaluable information you have put forth here.

I opened a small bull put spread early in the month with a short strike at 1265. Should I be concerned about the SET if I am still 10 points away.

Thank you for your responses

I've been posting spreadsheets with historical Friday morning SET versus Thursday SPX close. Have you downloaded that spreadsheet and reviewed the data. If you haven't I would suggest you do that first.

We are getting closer! Are you still thinking of going with this one? The mid is at a whopping .60 right now.

EDIT: looks like the .60 was bogus from TOS, it is now $1.10

Well, I didn't roll my current position, I just closed it out for about B/E.

As far as opening a JUN 1245/1250 bull put, I'm not against it at this point but we haven't dropped far enough yet. I'll evalutate over the next couple days.

If Mo cannot find it... it does not exist....

This is true!

BTW Mo, journal didn't quite break 30% return (unless QQQQ makes a big run in the next two days). Just a hair shy.:( Sorry to disappoint.

i am also watching the 1245/1250's and 1240/1245's. I need a lil higher r/r before i pull the trigger. If we make another leg lower that will probably be what i need to get a fill. Still not too comfortable risking the return on the call side by getting into an IC for june.
