SPX Credit Spread Trader

Quote from Arb Under Par:

BTW Mav,

I would have to disagree. I think that was flat out wrong. Does it make you feel good to act like a big shot when you are hiding behind a computer. I hope that translates to better trading for you, but I doubt it. Big egos tend to bite traders in the ass (just to stick with your gay male theme). :p

Cheers and GTTY

Cory, I can be dick sometimes, sure. But I'm pretty open about it. I don't PM people and hide behind that facade. No, everything I tell people on here, I would tell them in person. I have regular office hours and anyone from ET can come down and chat, IN PERSON. I also hold meetings once a month. And anyone from ET can come to those as well. I'm pretty upfront. I already said that puts a lot of people off. Not much I can do about that. I don't have an ego. I don't start journals to raise capital. I don't make market predictions. I don't ask for attention. I occasionally from time to time jump on these threads to have some nice honest banter that is very politically incorrect. I don't see a problem with that. Oh and btw, Phil is at VT. Just in case anyone that I was going to give him a free pass because he is a part my group now. LOL.

See Cory, I say what's on my mind. And I say it to them in person. I don't hide behind the internet. Most of the ET chicago guys know my name, where I live, where I work and my number. I converse very little on here for the reasons you just mentioned. Anyway, enough....enjoy the weather in Tahoe, I'm sure it's nice. Cheers.

It's not a personal affront from me, Mav, but what consolation is it that Tiv "knows what he's doing" when the spoos drop 70 overnight? Based on that run he'd lose 750 large at minimum. But I am sure he hedges in another account. :p

I am sure he's experienced and proved himself at your firm and elsewhere.

Does anyone at VT actually buy gamma?

He's going to have 100 mil under management. Nuff said. :D

Why do you keep saying your group? :D

Also you implying I started a Journal to raise capital? I did it to meet chicks!

No, not you Phil. Others.......:D

Well, your journal brought you to Donna. Although I think Risk is going to make a play for her and her money. :D

Risk and I have not settled the Donna thing until we get a leg shot. Donna ought to know she cannot throw some @#$% out there about nice legs and not follow through.

I think she is leaning toward the owner of "Me too option's play" journal. Fascinating staff.

Yeah, Mav, only if you don't beat me too it... You're one big swinging dick there in Chicago in your 400 sq ft. rented studio apartment. But hey, maybe you're frugal.

I have no argument with "Tiv", don't know the guy from Adam. I am sincerely glad he's making bank and managing OPM. I hope he reaches $100mil. My beef isn't with Tiv, but the sub-account I manage for my bro earned a double in 9 months on 7-figures. If you're a client of MadDearborn, CKP or Accel I can get you a copy.

So by Mav's inscrutable logic it's OK to risk the firm IF:

1) You know Mav
2) You know Mav and work at VT
3) You know Mav, work at VT AND work in the same group

Honestly, I consider you a bud, but you've long since gone on tilt. Be well.
