The Arabs rejected the partition in 1948, UN land for peace resolution in 1967, extremely generous Barak/Clinton peace proposal in 2000. Heck, about a year ago they refused to negotiate during the 10 months of self-imposed Israeli settlement freeze. Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon led to the election of Hezbollah and Katyusha rocket attacks from the North, Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Gaza led to the election of Hamas and Qassam rocket attacks from the south. Israel's land for peace (real land for ice cold peace) deal with Egypt seems to have worked for a few decades but it's not quite obvious that it will survive the regime change in Egypt. The arabs are dead set on the right of return which will turn Israel from a jewish into de-facto 24th arab state.

21 arab and a number of muslim states don't recognize Israel's right to exist 62 years after Israel was established. The arab/muslim world is simply not willing to put up with a democratic jewish state in the middle east. But don't take my word for it, ask sameeh/wael. So what's Israel to do?

The Arabs already have states. A few of them are called Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon. Arabs can go there.
1. Erect a fence, let no one in by land. Only air or sea.

2. Have big signs on the fence which say "if you cross this fence, you will be shot".

3. Shoot anyone who comes across the fence.

4. Review policy in 10 years.

The arabs in Gaza will evacuate to egypt. The arabs in the west bank will evacuate to jordan if they become involved. Let egypt and jordan howl and protest all they want.

The UN isn't much good for anything these days except raping and looting wherever they go.
