Quote from tradingjournals:

I think it is time to call on this site's ownership to consider canceling the advertising account of this guy. I assume that advertising does not give one the right to insult others, and to make posts that are irrelevant to the discussion such as some posts that appeared in a thread I started on the topic on "trading and coin flipping".

It also appears that insults may be used as means to get the people insulted to make posts, so that there is more exposure to advertising.

If a person wants more exposure, is there not a different form of advertising on this site?

Huh? Have you read any of the "puretick" psychosis?

Typical liberal crybaby. Provoke others that don't submit to your demands and then whine about it when you get a response you deserve.

Quote from tradingjournals:

Prove your claims with evidence/facts. You will likely produce a big fat zero.

Prove that you are malicious? That you are antagonistic? That you are a whiner by asking the moderator to take action on your behalf for a response to your provocations that was long overdue? In the real world - there are consequences for your words and actions.

Quote from joe4422:

The head oil trader for Citi's pay check for one year was over 100 million dollars.

Now this Citi oil trader is a truly successful trader. He is not lying. And guess what. Are you surprised that he doesn't have a website and offer coaching? Are you surprised that he doesn't come onto elite trader and fight and curse the locals?

Sorry joe4422, your dead wrong on this one.

The head Citi oil trader may have made 100 mil, but he certainly did not see much of it.

He probably has a salary under 200k and got a fraction of that number. Maybe a million if he was lucky.

Sorry, you need to be corrected. The guy you are talking about is Andrew Hall, head of Phibro Energy that was bought by Citi-Group. One hundred million was not what he made, it was his compensation package. The dude earned close to 600 million in trading profits and accounted for almost 100% of Citi's profits for 2008. Hall earned 250 million over the previous 5 years to his monster haul in 2008. Come on man, 200k? Where are you getting that shit from? Phibro is a monster in the energy business and Hall is one of the best in the game.

Maverick74:

Sorry, I was not talking about anyone in particular. I was just making a point. If you work for a bank and make a bunch of money, in most cases the trader is on a salary and gets a discretionary bonus that is peanuts to what they made. And they give them some crap about losing money in another space. After this happens once or twice the guy will usually look to get backed by a smaller private firm that will give them a contract with a percentage deal.

You might be right about Andrew Hall

Quote from JoePaterno:

CLEAR QUESTION TO BONE:

Is your own personal trading

--- seriously profitable (like, dozens of % per annum)

--- are your trading metrics high (Sharpe, expectancy, drawdowns)

--- and has this been true for the last 5+ years?

And if not, can you explain why anyone should sign up for your "professorship"?

FLAMES from bone:
You got your ass kicked by Alabama, so I understand the red ass.
Would it be possible, in your two years and 200 ++ posts, to be anything but a bitch? For once, please extrapolate on a trading idea. Observers: please search his posts: he's a bitch. a bomb-thrower. he likes to call out spammers. Anybody... search his posts for one small kernel of trading knowledge or at least a baseline factoid. Joe, you know dick about trading.

Big D (as he's affectionately known to TJ): Unprovoked, out of nowhere, you decide to attack me on a personal basis. A thread lays dormant for days, and then, TJ is not available so you start hitting on me?

Quote from JoePaterno:
Now compare to my previous post

The pattern:

Someone asks for proof

Some people "think" he is profitable or "speaks the right words."

Bone insults, becomes profane, evasive or very quiet. Sometimes, apparent shills pipe up also in defense.

Notice again, the pattern? Cannot prove, but constantly points to relatively unverifiable nonproof ("see my references").
