I have successfully done spread betting for a long time on sports.
Does anyone think there are any similarities between trading and spread betting on sports ?
No. Spread betting on sports is going against the bookie.
Spread betting on trading is going against the market. It's a huge difference (although some will argue with spread betting you are still against a bucketshop, which is also a bookie)
