Spot is a firm Rob Merrilees and a few of the old Stafford Trading guys started. It is a pretty good firm, fairly technology focused (but then again, pretty much all options market making firms are these days), off floor. Of cos all trainees in a firm like this (or Peak6, Wolverine, DRW, Ronin, Tradelink, Marquette etc) would be paid. Spot is not a "retail" proprietary trading firm.
