I read the ABC story yesterday, while it's hard to grasp that type of twisted ideology, I see it as a sign of the times and a reflection of the moral decay of today's society.

When Politico, itself very, very left leaning, condemns a fellow leftist group it is an indication of how extreme the SPLC is.
