"spirituality" videos - Part II

I think I have good list of themes to work with the coach.
So much time and efforts to learn this game to realise the uncomfort with what this game is supposed to bring. lol.
 
:) The good thing about the mind is everything can be worked on.
The key is to be honest and get to work on it.

I am feeling very optimistic now.
I recognise that till last year, I needed tons of stuff to trade as I made it as complicated and difficult as possible in any ways I could find. And we've worked on that. Now trading profitably is easy.
Making money from trading is easy.

Now I am happy to work on my perceived "unfairness" of easy and "disproportionate to effort" money made when trading.
 
May be it is time to expand my thinking. :)

I had a very boring day today... and it was good. :D.
I even asked a staff to ensure the boredom would not be disturbed. LOL.
Tomorrow obviously is going to be very much different :)

I made quiet a few mistakes in trading, but it does not matter as I will get that fixed by the coaches. These are:

1. I entered 2 trades, and, after few minutes signs were that the entries were too early, but I did not move the stop to break-even. These 2 trades turned losers. I think I just wanted to finish the trading day early, so I entered these too early.

2. I over-leveraged after I checked the p&l during the trading session, instead of waiting the end of the session.

3. I did not have the strength to enter manually a full portfolio of trades. I think it would be a good thing to get part of it turned into an EA with an email signal. Before, I would have never considered getting someone to implement the EA. EA is just tech analysis... it is really nice to see many freelancers coding EAs.

4. I realize I don't need much "real estate" to trade. One ipad for the news, and to screen watch, and another one to enter trades.

I am wondering if I "would do better to go and roll some dice in Las Vegas" ( sic Donald Trump) before the retreat. May be these type of retreats will make LV lose its appeal.
 
I don't need to beat myself up for yesterday's trading.
First, 'plan the trader' works very well, and I was able to follow it to the iota the previous day.

I think, I underestimated my sensitivity to euphoria.
Obviously, 'plan the trader' had well planned how to control my "automatic" reactions when I exceed the day target. The main issue was I just increased without realizing the good feelings into euphoria during the activities after the trading. So much that filling my review sheet, I realize I did not sleep much, slacked off some morning exercises yesterday, and yep I woke up with a "rush of excitement" thinking of the coming trading day. From then all unfold as "conditioned" and I followed the script euphoria--> over-leveraging.

Though my trading account is not shut down till the end of the month - thank you - I will take one week off. I want to extend "plan the trader" to how to cool down for 2 days after an excellent trading day. It might mean not taking any trades. I have no idea as yet.
 
It means that today I am taking it easy, all the more that I have some visitors to entertain - all about self-presentation I guess. I am nearly regretting that my slumming it and slacking off time-off is coming to a close. As I was pointing out here, "back home I would not be able to take it very easy like that without having hourly reminders and remontrances, ..., people exert social control via being very extroverts".
 
At least I now have to include :
"plan the trader" and "cool off the trader" :p

Yep, I am sticking to the market and not looking to move into real estate.
I adore trading too much.

In a way, I can not believe it never occured to me to cool down the euphoria before any new trading day. I guess we worked on preventing it for being there before the trading day, and generating it during; but we did not think of how to cool it down after. LOL.

The good thing about yesterday's session is I understand better why I could feel the 2 trades were entered too early. The little detail that makes all the difference.

The 2nd good thing is I am realizing I do not need to take trades everyday. This means I can manage my months with less constraints. I mean I can have some relaxed days when I am not taking any trades.

The 3rd good thing is I am pretty confident I'll reach my goal much faster than I first thought : compounding and avoiding by all means having losing trading days even if it means not taking any trades.
