Though the most astonishing being the child struggling with his
breathing when appearing in the world. :(

One of the last things my mother said before she died was, ‘Life is hard, life is unfair.’ She really believed that and it dictated how she was throughout her whole life. When I look back at how my parents lived their lives and the beliefs we absorbed from them, I can honestly say that most of them were negative and less than empowering. I’m not blaming them for their beliefs and expectations – they were both affected by World War Two in Europe and I have no idea, personally, of what it is like to live through something like a war.



What I do know is the mindset it gave me for a large part of my life. It was a mindset of belief in lack and struggle, that money is hard to come by and people ‘like us’ don’t have money. It was also a mindset that resented anyone who did have money.

 
Really nice set of exercises to do regarding "life is hard".
I am just realising that I have a bit of time to really work on myself and be the best I can be for my new life adventure.
Miracles made me see the sign, and I am taking the risk.
The reward of happiness and joy is worth the risk!

On this sunday, it is amazing to hear all around the shops,
"we wish good luck to those passing their bac!".
Quiet amazing really.
And banks offering a bonus for those who score a perfect marks.
I wonder if the bac candidates are feeling some pressure,
or they are feeling encouraged.
There is a real "douceur de vivre".
This is a real contrast with my studying "life is hard".
 
I am also realising that if someone has a belief system of "life is hard", it means deep down they have a victim mentality. This is without being judgmental, as may be some real catastrophes occured to them. Faced with challenges, some dsee it as a test to develop character, lessons to be learned in order to improve the person ( better character, higher psychology/spirituality). Others can be "crushed" by challenges, and become resigned.
Hence their conditioning/programming can be understood.

I am also really wondering about the childhood friends : isn't it easy for them, as they have not been tested at all. I compare to Mr who has been tested so much, that his "present" costs him much more in terms of risks.

In trading terms, if one has a victim mentality, how does it translate?

Time to enjoy some local delicacies, and contact my favorite aunt.
 
What is clear is july I am to visit Monco, can't do that earlier as I have serious admin issues to sort here and appointments have already been arranged. I am flattered that you found the courage to reach out to me and will do my V-E-R-Y best.
I guess I will make good use of my ancient languages studies. :)
 
Life is hard : goes with some associated beliefs such as
- Times are hard ( in t5rading, this market is hard. )
- I never had any luck ( in trading, i never had any luck getting taught,...)
- It always happens to me ( such as missing a huge move)
- Why can't things be easier? ( good question)

Need to find more associated beliefs of "life is hard".
 
"Life is hard" associated beliefs:
-life is hard and then you die
-the odds are against you ( trading # having the odds work for you)
- all good things must come to an end ( trading # winning streak/losing streak)
-you must compete to get ahead ( trading # )
- you have to work very hard to make enough money to live comfortably
- there is not enough to go around.
- life is hard and will beat you down ( trading imagery of being beatten by the market)
- life is hard and don’t expect things to go easy
- nothing should really feel easy
- I watch people struggle a lot, so life is hard
- someone watch their parents struggle a lot, so they conclude life is hard
