"spirituality" videos - Part II

Looks like some people - gangstalking anyone? - were deeply upset about good samaritans posts.
Particularly this one apparently

I'd say this video is a fantastic video.
Didn't your psychology feel different depending on each person's answer.
Now, as I was mostly doing prep, this had no effect on my p&l.

Let me remind what this thread is all about :
exploring the psychology of one trader -aka me.
Now, if your psychology is different, please there are thousands
of other threads, and , just put me on ignore and you are done.

So let's see why looking to videos of Good Samaritans is good for a traer:
- when watching good samaritan videos, I actually started to feel good -
and could feel I had better blood circulation... and miracle mircale... make better preparations ( yes some traders do prepare beforehand).

So here we are restarting the partII.

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NQcoRdA9QNA?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
fantastic action here again. What a contrast!
:D :D :D

1. why looking about what generates good feelings, and what generate bad feelings?
I'd say it is a mean of checking if one psychology is good or not.
And preferably to chose not to trade if the psychology is bad.
I hope I have illustrated this - finding when the psychology sucks and not trading after.

2. why looking to good samaritans?
I'd like to say that I have yet to met a successful and highly profitable
trader who can be said - without contest - to be a real asshole.
So far, the only one I have heard of - who were real assholes - have not been exactly consistent in their winning over an extended period of time. Though, the very very very few I have seen to be consistently profitable traders, have a very positive mindset/psychology.
I wonder why.

I am very glad I demonstrated excellent discipline today, by simply doing prep prep prep :D .

This was helped by starting with good feelings generators videos - how can one feel bad watching good deeds ? . Antyway, watching good deeds made me feel good, and , this stock of good and positive energy helped fighht the boredom that could have resulted from the mundane aspects of preparation - tons of readings, studying and reflecting.
So for me : I am proud of my day.
So let's reinforce emotional control, by promoting good and positive feelings/mindsets.

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eohNF2OkXg4?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

actually the fantastic upsetting video is this one

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vjnbGFXg_K0?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

specially as it was contrasted to this one:
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NQcoRdA9QNA?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I guess understanding body language and mentality is all about psychology.
The first video generated some mixted feelings, and some very strange at other times. I am just glad I was not trading then. lol.
Now, the second one, automatically regenerated my positive feelings - I actually smiled at the end of the video. And then my prep was actually very easy.

Now I am closing my trading day.
So as a psychological work, to be upbeat tomorrow and looking forward to trade again - be it prep or var or clicking buy/sell buttons - let's generate some extra good feelings.
I feel I have done something today to make me feel proud.
But not as proud as good samaritans - keep my ego in check.
Let's get started!

I did some great preparation, steadily , every detail. Reading carefully every document without being bored.
I could be very very proud , and get an inflated ego.
However, when I look to the Good Samaritan hospital

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XJq73SOLSg0?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

and compare it to some people's attitudes (deeply offensive video for gangstalker apparently)
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vjnbGFXg_K0?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I can still ask myself :
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eohNF2OkXg4?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

So I had a good productive day, BUT, I am keeping my ego in check.
Just a little step toward better emotional reading and control while trading ( prep is part of trading. lol).

:)
The first objectif was to quiet the mind, bring emotional well-being.
The next objectif is to control hyper-confidence into self-assured practitioner
... u still have much to do. :p

Trading is all about learning and improving. lol.

So one important aspect is to control ego, and "hyper-confidence".
I am testing a way to do that, by introducing days of travelling and seeing friends & family - so as to use the extremely positive energy into building relationships, vs using the extra energy from "hyper-confidence" into complacency.

From what I understand, trading well can lead to complacency.

I really have to thank my coach for all the good help he provided for free - though he got paid handsomely indirectly. Good people are so unique. :)
