In the modern age "APP it away" may be the case. A vast majority of human tasks will be completed by a cyber entity..Work from home really sealed the deal for vast majority of non-physical labor to transferred to AI/GAI.
The domestic labor force has little interest in backbreaking non ergonomic work. Who else will complete the undesirable, low paying work... non-domestic laborers.
On the same token, immigration may need to be expanded from Asia. Its the only way that the CHIPS Act has any chance in hell for success.
