This was a good thread, I learned a lot. I could have done without the troll interruptions.

I could care less if in fact some clicks produced some income for BrandonF. It didn't cost me a cent.

BTW, I noticed BrandonF gave away two codes for Camtasia. If in fact he was as greedy as accused, he could have sold each of those and collected a few hundred bucks.

I've done my share of old-school, direct marketing and copywriting and I definitely learned a lot of stuff from Brandon.

Hope your health has improved Brandon.

I'm glad you got something out of the thread. I enjoyed doing it.

I forgot all about giving away the two $340 camtasia licenses...so I've actually lost about $1150 here being helpful to ET members. Man I suck!

Brandon,

How about an update on your health? My thoughts and prayers are with you. Get well man!

Regards,

John

Hi John, Thank you for asking. (You too Canyon, and everyone else who is still keeping me in thoughts and family prayers, you guys will never know how much this community has helped me, and I'm not talking about financially, although over the years it's obviously done that as well. )

It's still not that good, which is why I have so much time to stalk ET lately..but it's getting better every day. We are not planning a funeral or anything, I've just got a long road ahead of me.

Can I have your laptop if you die? I would also be interested in your desktop monitor if it's 22" or bigger. Thanks

Well my sister already claimed the laptops, but I've got 3 27 widescreens that nobody has claimed. I'll be sure to add ya :)

The smartest person in the world will be the one who asks for my trading diary (over 60 five subject notebooks full of data and fun) and my marketing diary (about 9 notebooks), but so far everyone just wants easy free stuff...not the rather difficult task of decoding my chicken stratches.

Brandon, what site have you used to find good freelance writers for financial products---not copywriters but someone who can research and write an ebook.

I think up thread you mentioned you paid $900 at some time. Can you lert me know what $1000 would buy for research and writing. I can write pretty good ad copy and have done some very effective direct mail pieces for commodity traders but I don't like article writing.

BTW, you mention a few copywriters. Back in the day, Rene Gnam was the big name. I think he's still around.

I'd go to elance first and see if you can find a writer there. You can typically get them for around $4 per article for short ones to submit to ezinearticles and what.

Also on Warrior Forum. Look in the classifieds and specials section, pretty often guys who are trying it at IM and not making it are good writers, so when the bills come due they offer to write some articles on the cheap.

Ok, but just one more...of the 1647 posts you have made, about 6 per day since you joined..can you show me a single post you have made that added anything of any type of value to this community?

There's a site called absolutewrite dot com.
You might try there at the 'free lance' forum.
