The traffic estimator looks pretty cool. I'm not really a big google adsense user, so I was not aware of it till just last night when a friend showed it to me. So, you guys at this point know about as much about that particular product as I do. It looks interesting though.

I'll be up pretty late this evening, and like last sunday the video's may not be up till after 10. There should be at least 2, and possibly as many as 6 depending on how ambitious I'm feeling.

This weekend I suspect I've been pretty anemic (which is the last remaining significant medical issue I have to deal with from time to time) as I've been very tired and winded going up the steps etc. This has slowed me down a bit..but im getting the powerpoint together for the product selection module right now as I watch the Playoffs.
 
So another question I'm getting often is where did I learn my skills in salesmanship. I can assure you that I did not come by them naturally. When I was in HS I had four telemarketing jobs and was let go from each of them, and once when I was in college I tried working for the Loen's group selling pre-paid funerals. Every-one, and I mean everyone, else was making out like a bandit in that business...I did not have a single sale.

So, the good news is that salesmanship is a learnable skill. It helps to have a good mentor, and I was very lucky in that regard in that my first business partner Jeff had directly been mentored by and worked directly under the legendary Gary Halbert. Gary is considered one of the modern "god's" of the direct marketing business and is credited with nearly a billion dollars in sales from his sales letters. Sadly Gary passed away several years ago, but his work is still out there for all of us to learn from. He used to offer a subscription to the Gary Halbert Letter (I forget how much it was, but it was not cheap) to people who wanted to learn the copy business. With his passing it is now available, all editions, free of charge on his website for us all to learn from. It is among the best resources out there.

Claud Hopkins is considered one of the fathers of modern direct ads. His very short book Scientific Advertising is probably the best education in salesmanship and sales letter writting out there if you follow it. David Ogilvy is said to have read it every single month and required that his top executives do the same. The book is no longer covered under copywrite and can be found in a number of places on the web. I have a PDF of it and I'll see if it is small enough to load here to ET. Otherwise just look it up and you will find it someplace.

Also you should buy Robert Cialdini's book Influence...The Psychology of Persuasion. I'd say that probably every site and sale I have ever done has used that as the framework.
 
A number of people asked me about the the Presentation I put together for Module One. Specifically they wanted to know how did I make it. I used a FREE program called Open Office Impress. Open Office is the Open Code FREE product that compete's with Microsoft Office. For the purpose of making presentations I actually like Impress a lot more then Powerpoint.

I find it to be a great little tool, and I have used it along with camtasia (I'll do a bonus modul on how to use Camtasia at some point too) to create entire products.

I've probably read the book 60 or 70 times. That doesnt mean I'm perfect and I don't follow it 100%, nor does do many other successful people. It's a guide like anything else. It's like trading, you get a framework to work from and then you have to make it your own.

I'm not really sure what your getting at?
