people are paying money to trade demo? the company will pay me to trade demo? this is a joke right?

why would anyone pay money to trade fake money? open a forex account with 100 real dollars and trade it. if u cant make money in demo you will never make money live.

practice in 100 dollar increments live in the smallest pip fx available and learn. please dont waste time on these pay for demo gimmicks....wow. no real prop firm is going to do this!

Re Written Method, well tweaked to stop counter trend, I was doing great when market was only going up as most longs kicked ass and made up for losses x's 3

you're right. these prop firms could work for some people, but it is a losing proposition for most

but I will let wes moneymaker decide if its fact or fiction

I was against it aswell, but quite liked the idea and trying to gain a 25K account made me a better trader for awhile, then more honest of what went wrong and hopefully fixed it, well worth $90 IMHO, especially as I lost $400 this week on the Live account, $90 is cheap.

Plus I get to play with Ninja and a real demo futures account, rather than MT4 and Spot account, like a proper player.

In the end, a real prop firm is one that will allow me to withdraw real money by trading their demo account.

I will take that deal.

Earn2Trade seems really good, and $85 for a 50K account gauntlet bargain, switching to that next week.

Less rules than topstep to force you out.

why not give the 90 dollars to a friend and say. i am learning to trade. i have 1000 in my fake account. if i make money then u give me my money back at x increments. if i lose x amount that is yours to keep unless i get it back again. if i quit then whereever we are you get to keep the money if im down and you must give me my money back in x increments if i am up and cash out. this way the money is going to a friend not a company
this way you are still on the hook and being held accountable for your actions.

if you need someone else or something else to hold YOU accountable for your actions then trading is not for you. thats truth.

There will be no money going to a friend from a $1000 fake demo account. The 90 bucks coming back or staying with the friend isn't pressure enough. Trading is about your ability to handle the energy of money in motion. You can't learn how to trade in a month.
You must learn how you react to losing and winning real money. Feel it. Then embrace it.
Seek out the reason for your emotional tirades during the movement. And work to erase or diminish them.
Your ability to do this will determine your mastery of money in motion

i like some of what you said. energy of money in motion to me keeps it too real. i view it as buy pressure sell pressure but you had some good points. you are going to spend a lot of 90 dollar payouts to learn on a demo account then.

again open a real live fx trading acct for 100 and trade the smallest amount u can which i think is what a dime a tick or something? so 10 cents a tick instead of 50 cents a tick in the micro nq. or 1.25 in mes. there are manybdifferences between demo n live but trading demo for free is a worthy pursuit. if you are not crushing it in demo then do not trade real...period. put me on a demo acct and ill double in a week due to the fact that u always get filled. in real life those order book numbers change after u click the butron. the algos know real time u just placed an mes limit buy at 3600 and a sell at 3604.25 duh..so this is mkt impact.

if algosbread the book. then demo doesnt have them reading the book. mes would be an easy mkt to make gobs of money in if you could get book and limit order priority but you dont. they run it at your price for days cuz ur always at the back of the que!

do you have the margin to place a bunch of limit sells every 5 points above the mkt? they do! they spend millions a day on book priority in margin eventhough there margins are very low. that is why they have a 98% cancel to fill ratio amd gladly pay tje 1000 dollar fine per day for over messaging the cme order book.

Have u seen an algo get dinged for spoofing yet? u really think the algos arent programmed to spoof! bahahha the algos are protected. regulators dont see them ever.
