speed up computer with windows vista os

7 was faster than vista, 8 is faster than 7. If you want to make it faster still turn off features and processes not needed. Google for full details.
 
Thanks Just 21. There is just so much crap out there that I'm afraid to do that. I have a 7 and its much much faster than my old vista.

Yes, download the order page from a computer shop, order another computer.

Your computer simply is OLD, using outdated hardware. Simple like that - replace it with something modern.
 
run cc cleaner on a regular basis at least once a week.

uninstall all antivirus software and replace w/ mse.

if you ever want to uninstall a program i suggest using revo uninstaller (you can use the portable program which doesn't install on your comp in the below link scroll to bottom of page and click "download" button next to portable.

the reason for this is that if you just go to programs - add/remove there are still pieces of the program that remain after you uninstall it.
