Specialist era coming to an end !

I have yet to see an individual investor complain about the specialist system. So far the only ones doing it are people and companies with vested interest. Fidelity owns a chunk of Instinet, Vanguard a piece of ARCA. The president of AIG was actually complaining about not enough specialist intervention, they didn't want to support his stock. The nerve of them!

Big difference between eliminating the dividend,like LAB just did;
and eliminating the company or system.
