Special Elections Point to a Democratic Wave

FiveThirtyEight: “There have been more than 70 special elections for state and federal legislative seats in 2017 so far…. The Democratic margin has been 12 percentage points better, on average, than the partisan lean in each race.”

So while I would have preferred to just write

the house is not the senate... einstein...

since you have implicitly requested that I use proper sentence structure....

Mr. Arnie employed the informal term House. Any educated person reading such a sentence would comprehend Mr. Arnie was referring to our House of Representatives.

The House of Representatives is part of our Federal governments bicameral legislature. The Senate is a body distinct from the House of Representatives.

Before commenting on US politics a self reflecting thinking human being might take it upon themselves to educate themselves about the basic structure of the US Government.

Your comment is akin to referring to Theresa May as President May.

United States Senate special election in Alabama? Or are you waiting for the recount.

he said House which means House of Representatives.

We know Jem.

Incumbent races are nearly meaningless so he was being stupid, got one back. Dems won theirs also however they are winning by far higher margins.

Now would you spend a day helping TreeFrog with his posts? He can teach you how to use punctuation and you can fact check him. Win Win.
