South Florida--WORLD WIDE FRAUD CAPITAL

Who digs up this stuff?

I was at this meeting and it was a very obscure briefing with only a handful of people in the room. Is someone on this board surfing the Boca Raton papers for news about currency fraud? Wow...he must be very bored....

Quote from EPrado:

I moved down here from Chicago years ago. This place is at times like The Twilight Zone.

As far as all the fraud. Well....you have probably the wealthiest areas in the country (Palm Beach) here. A lot of very rich people who are not the brightest and are easy marks. That draws in the scam artists. Then again, people who dont do their research and believe the "guaranteed 100 percent return", then invest, probably deserve to be parted with their money.

If you can get past the bullshit that goes on down here, is a great place to live.

Having lived in Chicago and South Florida, I'll take the weirdness of Miami Beach and the Keys over the bizarro weirdness of parts of Chicago....Cicero, Berwyn...Elmwood Park, Maywood, et al.

Carl Hiassen isn't living his life down here for nothing!

I was born in S Florida.

Lived there for 20 years, 30 years ago.

You can have it. It was beautiful, then. You may have noticed a bit of an overcrowding problem?

Moved to S Cal desert. In 5 minutes I can be in places were there is NOBODY, for miles. Very peaceful.

Except for the occasional meth lab...

Best to all.
