I really don't know if or how much the Govt. is manipulating this market. I was seeing it on the charts in early August. I just think that after the election would be a good time for a pullback and then a nice Santa Clause rally to end the year. I do think some people are expecting the Fed to cut rates soon and that is playing into this as well. If that happens then we will see the next bull market.

"if that happens we'll see the next bull market". lol we're you been we're still in the bull amrket from 2002. we've run 4800 pts in this 4 year bull. we're in the 3rd longest bull market of all time. we haven't had a 2% closing down day in almost 3 years and the dow is at the longest time in history at 910 days or so without a 10% closing correction. rates dropped to 1% and we had the biggest bear in 70 years so rates falling is bad.it seems we're near the end of this gig and ready for a huge bear to return. oh i almost forgot iran is dead ahead then north korea and israel is 1 turn from another war
I think the top is in just like I thought... yesterday tried to penetrate 12000 and couldn't, then pulled back into the close.. then gapped down today.... I think this is the pullback, probablly will only last a few days, but i'm just glad its finally here..

Can you belive this, its totally insane. The Dow Mini had hit 50k contracts by 10:00am cst. That almost what the total was all day yesterday.
Then it grinds all the way back with most of the gains during the lunch hour, on thin volume.
This is frustrating, as their is so much risk buying this overbought pig.
And now we get INTC horrible earnings, yet for some reason its greeted as good. This has gone overboard.

Now listen here, I rode the Dow Mini up from 11300 to 12000, and made plenty its documented right here on ET. So dont talk to me like I just joined the party.
