On that note - Huge economic & political problems south of the border. The poverty level is off the map…people trying to escape to the nearest country with a better lifestyle.
America is not the only country with an influx of immigrants.
In my opinion if countries turn their backs on immigrants…it will create a DEPOPULATION crisis.
Regardless, immigration problems is not a fixable problem although politicians love to exploit the issue since the late 1800s when America needed immigrants to grow and then the immigration laws became very selective (discriminatory) in the 1920s.
As it tried to increase certain ethnic groups while trying to decrease other ethnic groups but World War I&II created an immigration mess for America and everybody else as populations shifted (migrated & immigrated) especially after the global financial collapse of the great depression.
