In my opinion, those in this thread have not said anything about Malone in this thread although I do know statements about Malone have been stated in other threads in the Political section in other Covid threads.
Instead, they (including myself) have complained about
your misinformation/disinformation statements (e.g. all vaccinated people will/have died within 2 days after their Covid vaccination).
As for the government, of course they contacted social media companies to censor information about the Pandemic long before the Covid vaccines because President Trump admitted to doing such when he argued it was "fake news".
Yet, Malone issues were much different because his own colleagues (those he worked with) was pissed off about other issues beginning with him
not getting the accolades for inventing mRNA vaccines. Thus, it was not a censor on him...it was his former colleagues calling him out on social media that stated Malone with others began the work on mRNA but had that he left the team after a dispute with his colleagues before the final product...
He essentially said
"so what...I should be recognized too".
I've seen stuff like that happen before with other scientific researchers. In fact, it's more common than you think. Some scientists leave a research team for personal reasons, some leave because of conflicts with other team members, and some leave to join a competing research team such as taking another job with a different University or lab that's working on the same science project et cetera.
- In the beginning, during Trump's presidency and Operation Warp Speed...one of the above was the issue for Malone but nobody really gave a damn about who deserved recognition for the discovery of mRNA.
Yet, Malone's tune dramatically change from him wanting the recognition/discovery of mRNA
after Trump lost the U.S. election...it changed to Covid vaccines were unsafe and would kill more people than the Pandemic itself. In fact, it's been a common theme for conspiracy theorists like
yourself that use social media to blame EVERY unexplained death of a celebrity, athlete, and so on Covid vaccines even those that were
never vaccinated.
- You yourself started with bullshit misinformation by placing this thread initially (intentionally) in the wrong section of the forum...in the section for Health & Fitness - A forum dedicated to the art and science of gaining muscle, losing fat, and improving strength and endurance.
- Next, you yourself tried to censor debate about whatever you planned to write by stating you would not engage in any countering statements or facts by other members in this thread although you knew other members would still show up to write counter-facts that called you out especially when you write about other topics that have nothing to do with Covid, Pandemic, Vaccines or mandates.
Regardless, the censorship began when people made statements online such as statements like "vaccines magnetized your body so that metal objects would stick to you", "drink bleach to prevent a Covid infection", "Democrats created Covid", "Covid will be gone by Easter 2020", "facemask wear inside crowded places were unsafe/did not work"
even though doctors/scientists have been wearing face masks in hospitals during surgeries since the early 1900's although hospitals began using a more modernized/better-developed facemasks since the 1960s that the general public did not use...
My point, the misinformation, and censorship on social media began long before Covid vaccines although you started this thread in September 2021 with your first post about
mandates...a thread you yourself would later take into many other directions including Politics, Elections, Other diseases, Other Vaccines, and so on.
In fact, I remember the first Democrat politician to be accused of misinformation and social media censor her statements...it was Pamela Harris
prior to her teaming up with Biden for the 2020 Presidential elections...
She stated in an interview that
she would not trust the vaccines if/when Trump/Pence Operation Warp Speed discovers a Covid vaccine but she would trust it if another country discovered a Covid vaccine.
Trump administration (Republicans) were the first to be accused of Covid misinformation/disinformation in early 2020 about the Pandemic.
Anyways, Trump administration asked social media companies to censor Harris comments. They initially refused but started re-airing her interview going into the November elections after Biden/Harris begin gaining ground on Trump/Pence with the voters.
