I've been walking around and doing my daily life tasks in public without a mask since I got the second shot in May 2021. What is the panic? Do we need to Pink Floyd the public? This pandemic sensationalism is getting really old now. Enough already.
Not sure what's your point if you had one? It is prudent to get a booster shot (free and quick), but if you are younger and healthy, live away!! I am in the home of stupid, Florida right now, so the question can be turned around, why NOT to get one? (in stead of why get one)
And would you mind leaving out the stupid Pink Floyd videos? Not really helping your case. But if you were seriously interested in an answer here it is:
1. The original timing between shots were too short (should have been 6-8 weeks), so a booster shot fixes that.
2. The shots although still very effective have a waning effectiveness. A booster shot fixes that.
3. Lots of other kind of shots require 3-4 spread out shots in childhood. So getting a 3rd one just follows the same logic. The thinking is that we are good for up to 2 years after that.
