I believe this to be true because if not, millions of people are going to go get their "free" vicodin every month. This will cost billions of dollars, so to cut costs, they will just make vicodin an OTC drug and force people that need it to buy it themselves. Hell, maybe antibiotics will also be OTC.

Why be forced to pay a $150 dr office visit and spend 4 hours waiting (including pharmacy ) just so you can buy a $5 med that you know you need .
