soo ..... FX brokers?

who are the best brokers for Forex? I'm a newbie and I'm really trying to cut through the clutter and get some sort of consensus on the best brokers. I used Forex.com to start with and wasn't thrilled. Any suggestions?
 
yeah i should have specified. im toying around with different styles. some intraday and some longer. what would be best for the respective styles?

i just joined gft . They have great software and features , I was with cmc til they closed . Only problem when there is a fast moving market your order are in limbo for a few minutes then many times there is slippage . Never had that problem with CMC .
If you dont do any news trading they would be okay .
