Something very simplistic

there was one day, 9/23, when your system didn't work so great. it would be interesting to know why. i know you don't like to know WHY, but i gotta disagree with you on this. if you knew why it didn't work that day, you could potentially know when not to use your system and avoid those bad days.

on the other hand, i don't think any system is going to work every single day. so maybe it was just the way it is. but, i'm curious if it is even possible to avoid this or not.

You misunderstand my position on knowing "why" it didn't work. I know why it didn't work - I got stopped out too many times and took a couple of double hits because the price did not move my way. That's about the only answer that I can prove. Anything else would be pure speculation. There really isn't anything I can change about the system that will change how the price moves. :)

Like I've said before, every time I've ever tried to tweak a system to the point of removing the few losers from overall winners, I end up with a losing system.

Nice work Quah well done. The availibility of comprehensive reports and concise explanations, with stuff taking on a professional shape, makes this so interesting.

Thanks for your efforts and for sharing :)

Quah,

I know this not part of your system, but would you ever consider letting your profits run if there's strong momentum running behind you?

I might think about something like that later on - as a totally separate system.

Quah,

Perhaps you can stick with the same system with the exception of letting the profits run if there's an immediate bid above your target price and if the short term trend is on your side. Otherwise, exit as planned.

Just a thought.
